Excuse the radio silence folks. Over the next two weeks, I have a 2,000 word essay to write and the next HacksHackers Belfast event to plan. I’m doing all this (including The Muckraker) while doing my day job.

Truthfully, I’m exhausted. I work through to 2-3am every night and get up early to go meet sources. Then I work my shift at MG from 12-8pm. Not that I’m complaining. I do what I love every day. It’s addictive. Most people can’t even figure out what it is they love.

I’m focusing on the Project Kelvin story for now. One thing I’ve learned: the archives of local newspapers are a treasure trove of information. Relying on stories from the Coleraine Times, I’ve started to piece together a timeline of events, starting from Kelvin’s birth as a project. A timeline is a handy reference tool; it’s easy for information to get lost in a notebook. I’ve started digitising all my notes, mainly in Evernote, for this reason.
